More lighting scenarios

Image
For this week I decided to move my setup to the cooker in the kitchen as it has a plain black base and I had lighting from the light above. I then used an a4 sketchpad as the background. I also used my lamp from last week and moved it around and used the Lynx bottle from last week also. Here are some of my results followed my the behind the scenes:

Lighting scenarios for Product Shot

Image
Here I have included some shots of a product (lynx bottle) and some different lighting scenarios. After each shot I included a picture of how it was taken.

Product Shot Research

Image
Product Shot Research I like this product shot because for one it has a reflection of the watches at the bottom which I like and second of all the watches are very well displayed and neat. This is also another image quite similar to the first. The dark background making the product eye-catching, the reflection at the bottom and the lighting on the product making it look more appealing and satisfying. I like this image as the background is lighter than the other two but not too bright so the product stands out. There is also some smoky effects coming from the bottle making the viewer believe the product is nice and refreshing.

Flash

Image
Flash This is my first image that I have decided to use. I like this picture as the lighting is good for the subject and the background. I used ISO 100 at a flash white balance. This is my second image that I decided to use. For this image I decided to use it because I used Rear Curtain sync on the camera so when something is moving, it creates a stream of light behind the moving subject. This is my last and final image. In this image I should have used Red Eye Reduction as my flash setting so you would not be able to see the redness in the subjects eyes but luckily the way the lighting was, there was no red eye in the photo.
